Overhang layer thickness

Hi

I'm doing this handle for a small box. The layer thickness where the red arrow is pointing, is way too thin. How do i control the amount og layers on an overhang like this?

Not sure if there is an option exactly for that, but generally increasing number of perimeters works the best.

Try 4.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

@3dx

this is an older thread, however may offer some very useful information, keeping in mind that Prusa dev has changed the way "Ensure vertical shell thickness" behaves, but I think you will find  some helpful information in the thread link.

I bumped into somthing called "Horizontal shells" and changed minimum shell thickness from 0,5 to 1,5. It seemed to have added extra layers. I'm gonna do a test print and see if anything changed
