.obj files.

I am getting a generic error when I attempt to import a .obj file.  I notified the owner who tried it again successfully. He wasn't familiar with Prusa Slicer to I'm turning to you folks. Error reads "loading of a model file failed" . Interestingly the file extension is .obj but the "KIND" column in the file selection grid indicates it's an .STL Ideas?

RE: .obj files.

How was the .obj file created respectively exported from which CAD system?

Why don't you use a .stl export?

wbr,

Karl

I got the file from "ArtStation" on the web.  The owner only had .FBX, .MTL, .OBJ, and BLEND.  The owner is using BLENDER.  this is the first time I've tried to use a file format other than .STL.

Try to reexport .obj from blender with settings "Triangulate Faces"
