Nozzle hovering over part during ooze control warm-up and cool-down
Hi.
My second printer is a snapmaker A350T with a dual nozzle head. I really want to use prusaslicer for this printer as well, but I'm having difficulty with dual color prints. The problems are primarily related to ooze control. When PS finally added the ability to use a wipe tower and ooze control, I was very excited because I thought this would fix the problems I was having... but they really only got worse, because of the way they implemented their ooze control.
Every time the nozzle cools down or heats up during the nozzle changes, the nozzle hovers directly over the part... causing the ooze to deposit right on the part I'm printing. The end product is an excessively stringy and blobby print that is useless to anybody (and my nozzles also get caked up with burnt filament as well).
I was really surprised by this behavior... it pretty much seems to nullify its usefulness. I expected the nozzle to move off to the side (away from my part) while the temperatures of the nozzles were adjusting, then make a pass over the wipe tower to clear off any oozing junk and prime the nozzle. Is there a way to do this in PS?
