Nesting parts

Apologies if this has been asked , I searched and did not find anything relevant.

I've been using prusa slic3r to generate supports for my phrozen resin printer , i find it does a much better job than chitubox.

I would like to 'nest' some parts for a print.  That, is print some parts inside the void of a larger object.

I'm trying to print a variation of a puzzle box.  As you can imagine one of the pieces is a large 5 sided hollow box.  There are many small pieces that will easily fit in the void of the box but I am unable to 'suspend' them inside the box in slic3r and generate supports off that.  i move them along the z axis and they just drop to the plate...through the bottom of the box.

Is this possible with prusa slic3r?

Please let me know if that's explained well enough, if not I'll try to provide some pictures.

Thanks!

RE: Nesting parts

May have found a work around , i imported and arranged all the parts in chitubox, which supports the nesting behavior I want, then exported the STL...loaded it in slic3r and generated supports, so i get the good support structure that slic3r seems to do so much better than chitubox.

Kind of hard to tell from the picture but the other parts are all suspended in the void of the main box.

Would love to hear from anyone who knows if I can do this without the extra chitubox step. 🙂
