Multiple versions of PrusaSlicer at the same time

Is it possible to run different versions of PrusaSlicer on the same OS?
So I can try v2.6.0, but if something goes wrong, I'll still have the 2.5.0 version to do the work.

thanks

Best Answer by JoanTabb:

Yes, the Prusa Slicer 2.6.0 Alpha2 image, is in a different directory

I loaded the alpha yesterday, and I can still access 2.5.0

Prusa Slicer uses 3 different default locations for the configuration profiles, alpha, beta and release.  Precisely so you can try out and test new versions.

There are also ways of running multiple versions within a category too by using switches on the start commands to explicitly tell the software where to use for its configuration data.
