Huge retraction scars with 1mm nozzle
Hi,
I recently switched from ideamaker to prusaslicer on a raise3d pro2. Its a relativly normal extruder setup with a bontec style direct extruder and a 1mm nozzle.
I just took my ideamaker settings and applied them to the PS retraction section.
from what I can tell these are pretty normal retraction settings.
However, the result is this:
Also 0.75mm for extra restart distance is also pretty high for my taste but i can see that the gap happens on the de-retract. there is just not enough material in the nozzle to restart the extrusion. there is also not much stringing that could suck that much material from the nozzle.
I have the feeling that i need 3mm extra restart distance to close that gap.
I also played around with the wipe setting but since the problem happens on de-retract I didnt change anything.
Any ideas what could cause this?
