Multimaterial painting with more than two colours?

Hallo,

is there a way to use more than two colours? I would need three.

with MMU2 and MMU3 you can use 5 colours

Fun fact: with the MMU you can also change filaments mid-print and therefore use more than 5... 

@klaus-g2 which printer and which project (post a ZIPed project file from slicer), besides that: the answer to your question is: yes.

Sorry, but that's all I didn't ask for. I know that I can use 5 colors in the MMU.

And I know why I asked precisely in the Forum "PrusaSlicer" and why I asked for the funktion "Mulitmaterial painting".

The question is how I can choose more than two colors with this funktion.

After you are finished painting with the first two colors, select the dropdown for first or second color and choose Extruder 3 (if you have 3 extruders setup). Then you use your left or right mouse button to paint the third color. When I just tried it in PrusaSlicer it showed the correct colors in the preview at least. I have not tried printing with this setup yet.

this operation mode seems to work (I expected several dropdown lines for each extruder).
