Multi material support #feature request
  • Is it possible to create supports out of two materials? PVA Filament is suprisingly expensive and i would like to use it only on contact points to the surface of my part.

Yes.  Under Print Settings>Multiple Extruders>Extruders you can assign which extruder is used for various features.  There are both Support Material and Support Material Interface option there.   Its a Yellow setting so you must be in Advanced mode to see them.

🤯wow. Thanks for your help. I will try this. Is there also something similar for infill? Expensive outer wall material and cheap infill material?

With the Multimaterial unit you can even define different filament for infil and perimeters on a feature

on this setup, the outline for the letters is set to black, whilst the infill is white,    which makes the letters 'Pop'
