Multi-material snug supports bug?
I have a Jubilee toolchanger and I use PrusaSlicer for all my slicing. When I print using grid supports, the printer will print layer 1 in the first color, do a toolchange, then print layer 1 and layer 2 of the second color, then change back to the first tool and print layer 2 and layer 3. This is the expected behavior and works really well.
When I enable snug supports, it prints layer 1 completely, then layer 2 completely, and so on. This results in twice the number of toolchanges vs using grid supports.
Has anyone else noticed this behavior? I have just downloaded v2.4.1 to see if it is fixed, but I didn't see it in the bug fix log on github. I'm printing something at the moment so can't test this right now.
