Moving to new PC - Config Wizard not showing printers from other vendors?
I just installed PS 2.8.0 on a new PC. When I ran the config wizard, I selected my MK4/0.4 nozzle, but I didn't see any way to select my Flashforge Creator Pro IDEX machine. In fact, I didn't see a way to select any other non-Prusa printer. Am I missing something?

Did you not read the 2.8 release notes ? The config wizard no longer includes all the profiles in it. You have to either allow it access to online sources or you can download those resources and load them in locally.
If I do a clean install of 2.8 and it starts the wizard I am presented with this new screen -
As you can see I have selected Prusa FFF and Other FFF. Once I click next the wizard will then download those source files from the internet and then the wizard goes on to the more familiar printer selection options. For me with those options selected it shows all the prusa printers and the other vensors filament printers. I am not shown the prusa or other vendor sla printers as I didn't select them.
If your system cant access those sources for whatever reason then you will not get them.

Thanks for the reply - I uninstalled and re-installed Prusa, and now I see the 'Other FFF Printers' choice. I think I just missed it the first time through.
I gave up reading release notes a long time ago 🙂
