Minor issues with "Rectilinear" infill pattern
Dear all,
Please take a look at the following model infill (15% "Rectilinear"):
One can see the following:
- The way the infill is printed is not uniform: the walls are followed by empty spaces (highlighted with blue) and sometimes generates 1-2 layer bridges (highlighted with orange). Not a big deal, but that might impact the model strength.
- Infill generates some strange loops, and sometimes these loops hang in the air. I believe these loops and curves are the "echo" of the model from upper layers which somehow is "projected" on the infill (highlighted with red):
- Infill anchor does not touch the perimeter (highlighted with orange).
- Just for my information:
Why so much solid infill is generated (highlighted with pink)?
What prevents the infill pattern to be connected directly to the perimeter?
"Aligned Rectilinear" has similar issues, "Line" creates a messy pattern, other patterns are more or less OK.
