Looking for setting to control top solid infill extension

After searching far and wide I cannot for the life of me find the setting to control this behavior. As you can see, top solid layers that sit on top of the infill get extended into the inside of the volume, past perimeter walls that sit on top of them. How can I control this distance? As you can see they get extended all the way to the outer wall. This is causing the exterior of my parts to bulge creating an ugly line going around the whole perimeter. And this bulge only happens on the layers where this solid top layer is getting extended to the outer wall. I'm fairly confident this is what is causing this.

RE: Looking for setting to control top solid infill extension

This has plagued us for years but instead of fixing some basics like this, the PrusaSlicer team is clearly more focused on adding "cool" new features.

There's plenty of discussion of this issue (affectionately called "The Bulge"—also misspelled as buldge) in this forum.

TL;DR: Many suggestions, no universally applicable solution.

There are several threads you might want to look through:

Thread one - Buldge when print reaches solid layers.

Thread two - Any tips to get rid of the bulge?

Thread three - Mitigate wall bulge.

Interesting! I didn't realize this was such a common issue. I have printed other objects with similar geometry that do not have this problem, even when the solid top layers also extend to the perimeter. If they would allow us to change the parameter controlling that it would be much easier to diagnose.
