Issue with slicer and MMU - change extruder at layer height

PrusaSlicer 2.5.0, installed on MacOS

MK3S+, MMU2S

So i have been trying to figure out why my MK3S+ with MMU2S was setting the temp to zero when it would do a filament change.  I am using the same filament setting for all 5 slots for the MMU so there should be no temp difference.  I initially thought it was an issue with the hardware/config.  But i just noticed with a simple color change at prescribed layer height in PrusaSlicer, if i add an extruder change at the ruler (in layer preview - clicking the +) any thing after that extruder change will have a temperature of zero.

For comparison i opened the same project with no changes in SuperSlicer 2.3.56, and it DID NOT show the temp being set to zero on extruder change, and it held true for the gcode that was sent to the printer as well.

Any ideas on what this may be?  is this a setting in PrusaSlicer that i need to change?

It would be useful if you could include the Project file in zip format.

when I had a play, I got unusual behaviour as well

did you get an error message?

sorry, i didn't even think to post the zip.  Also, i never noticed any error messages.  But i will remove it again and try to re-add it to see if i get one.

So interesting update.  it appears that it is not model specific.  If i use 'default' for the extruder selection it will show any layer printed with 'default' or the first filament selection as the correct temperature.  But if i change the extruder selection to any other extruder ( 2-5 ) it will give a zero for their temperature.  it is the same filament profile used for all 5 slots in the MMU.

I see the same results if i use the 'color paint' option as well.  everything except the original selection will be set to a zero temperature in the slicer.

Solved: Issue with slicer and MMU - change extruder at layer height

I believe i have found the issue.  it appears that i had some corrupted printer profiles.  I removed them and readded them and now the print temps match what i have for the filaments.  this only affected the Prusa printer profiles not the ones i had for other printers.

RE:

so with an old profile it is working.

I just updated the printer configurations with PrusaSlicer 2.5 and ALL of the configurations that have the MMU  (and yes i did test every MMU configuration) show this issue  I am including a screenshot comparison where PrusaSlicer is setting a Large amount of the STL with color changes as having a zero temp.

I am thinking there is an issue with the way PrusaSlicer is handling color changes.  SuperSlicer does not have this issue using the SAME stl file.

The filament type is the same for all the MMU slots  (default Prusa PLA filament types).  it doesn't matter what Printer Configuration with MMU i select in PrusaSlicer the result is the same (on the right)
