Installer PrusaSLicer on more then on Laptop
Regarding Prusaslicer 5.1.0
I use Prusaslicer on more than one laptop.
On one of my laptops I have configured the Prusaslicer with profiles and my printer's setup as I want it.
I've just installed Prusaslicer on a new laptop, but don't know how to move/copy ALL of my personal setup to the new installation so they have the same setup.
How do I manage this problem?
Does it have to be done during installation or can I do it after?

I don't know if it will work, but you can try.
In the following place you will find the settings you have made on your existing laptop.
C:\Users\Your name\AppData\Roaming\PrusaSlicer
If you copy this directory and put it in the same place on your new laptop, it should work.
Note that the APPDATA directory is hidden by default, so you must first make it visible and reachable.

I run Prusaslicer on multiple machines. I created a copy of the data directory on OneDrive (I'm sure Dropbox or iCloud would work to), then created symlinks to that directory in the parent directory of the original data directory on each machine (it's /Users/username/Library/Application Support on the Mac, for Windows it's probably C:\Users\Your name\AppData\Roaming\ per @rene). I don't have access to a Windows computer right now but I have had this setup on both Windows and Mac in the past.

Where in Prusaslicer do you refer to the files/folders that you have copied onto OneDrive?
Is it a folder/folders or just a single file?
RE: Installer PrusaSLicer on more then on Laptop
You don't do anything in Prusa Slicer. There is nowhere (yet) internally to define where you want the data location. There are currently open requests on github for such functionality though. You are externally creating symlinks to the default data folders that Prusa Slicer uses. You do have to be careful that you dont cause issues by running it on multiple computers at the same time.
It is best to take regular backups of your custom profiles. Prusa Slicer has that functionality built in and has since the earliest days as it comes from the original Slic3r. Use File>Export>Export Configuration Bundle. This will create a backup of any CUSTOM profiles. It does NOT contain anything installed via the built in installer wizard. It can also be used to make new installs the same. Just run a new install on a different/new machine, run the wizard initially to get any system profiles you want and then use the Import Config bundle option to get all your custom profiles.
Its a good idea to get into the habit of backing up anyway in case of problems. It has been known for the profiles to get corrupted and then PS can refuse to start up at all.
you can modify the startup shortcuts to add a --datadir <folder location/name> switch which does force PS to use a specific location. This can be quite handy to run different versions side by side if needed. The problem with this method is that if you are in the habit of double clicking on a model or project to start PS then you arent using the datadir switch. Which is why people want the ability to define where the data is stored.
So symlinks for the auto method or export/import config bundles for the manual method.

That's a fair statement. However, I've been routinely running Prusaslicer's on two computers at the same time with different projects and have not run into any issues. I can certainly see conditions under which conflicting simultaneous changes to profiles could cause conflicts. But if you're one person and you're not making constant changes to profiles you're probably good.
