Import fails after using the first time

Bug Report:  (I think!)

1.  I import a STL file, slice it and generate g-code.  All works.

2.  At this point, I want to remove the parts I just sliced and do another part.  There isn't a "clear" under the File tab.   Instead, I have to go to Edit and then select "Delete All".  So I delete, and then try to import another part.  It appears to go through the action of importing the next file but the part does not appear.

I've tried this multiple ways and the only way I can do a second part is by completely exiting the program and starting again.

Beside this bug, it is definitely a user-interface design error not to have "Clear" under the file tab.  That is pretty much standard on all programs.

RE: Import fails after using the first time

It is obvious you have not read the basics in the knowledge base.  https://help.prusa3d.com/en/article/ui-overview_1766

When you first slice a model the plater view changes to the sliced layer preview automatically.  If you then delete the parts (or change any setting that would invalidate the slice)  the preview of the slice is removed.  However the view is NOT automatically changed back to the 3d editor view.  As such it can look like the plater is empty if you do what you did.

If you click on the icon to go back to the 3d editor view you will find your newly imported (or existing model if you just changed a setting) still there on the plater.  Please go to the knowledge base link I provided and check out the item 10 controls.

If you want to clear from the file menu option its 'New Project' as you are loading in a clear new plater/project.
