How to set the "Flow Factor" (Defaults to 95 and want 100 on Prusa Mini+)

How do I set the "Flow Factor" so that it will be 100 when printing?

The Flow Factor on my Mini+ always defaults to 95 (At least when writing Generic PETG but possible all the time.)

After manually setting it from 95 to 100, then on the next print it goes back to 95 again, leaving gaps between the perimeter and infill and other areas. Everything prints nicely with a Flow Factor of 100.

I have looked through PrusaSlicer (2.6.1) and don't see any setting called "Flow Factor".

Is there a way to change the default to 100 in either the Mini+ or else in PrusaSlicer or when slicing an object? I would like to not have to wait for the object to start printing and then manually setting it each and every time.

The setting on the Mini+ is shown in the attached photo.

I believe you have to be under the expert tab(top right of Prusa Slicer) of  Printer Settings. Then select Custom G-code on the left menu panel and in the "Start G-code" section of code change the "M221 S95 ; set flow" to "M221 S100 ; set flow". I attached a picture for reference.

In Printer Settings→Custom G-code→Start G-code, change the last line from

M221 S95 ; set flow

to

M221 S100 ; set flow

RE:

Total flow rate = Flow multiplier in firmware (M221) x Extrusion multiplier in PrusaSlicer

... or try to set extrude factor override percentage to 1.053 in PrusaSlicer (0.95 x 1.053 = 1 = 100%).

Good question -- I just noticed this myself when cups that I used to print just fine started leaking.

Does anyone know why this value is set to 95%?

Has it always been set to 95%, or was this changed in PrusaSlicer at some point?

Its always been set to 95% in Prusa Slicer.  As to why, traditionally because they over extrude slightly.
If your cups used to be ok but aren't now then its not because of the flow value.

What have you changed between ones that were fine and ones now ?  Filament ?  firmware update ?  partial clogg of the nozle ?  changed the nozzle ?  basically there are a myriad of reasons it could be.

RE:

Thanks for your answer.

I hadn't printed this model in a while, so it's impossible to tell what had changed.  This would have been an easy answer.

Also, the weight is 7% less than PrusaSlicer predicted -- but I always have this problem with all of my models.
