How to ensure tool travel goes around tall sequential parts
I am printing sequentially a part which is roughly 7mm deep x 6cm wide, x 10 cm tall. I can easily fit 6 of these on my build plate without worrying about crashes by placing them as see in the picture.
..however, the only issue i may have is when the tool travels from part 2 to 3, and 4 to 5 as the tool path is in a straight line between the two.
How can I make the tool go around these two parts?
Just a thought, but this would be a nice feature to have.... automatic ability for sequential printing layout and tool paths...instead of manually figuring out all clearances. The built in diameter and height is useless I find....more of a reminder than anything else.

Well if you are sequentially printing those id swap positions 3/4 for a start.
As for the other then no. Its all manual. Go post on one of the several issues open on github in the PS project.

I usually dont print that high, but i usually make my prints staggered in a Z-formation front to back/side to side depending on printer and start /end of printhead movement.

RE: How to ensure tool travel goes around tall sequential parts
The right side of the extruder assembly is wider than the left side, so I typically like to print left to right so I can get parts closer together and print more parts.
This turned out to be a none-issue in this case, because the extruder moved up in the z-axis before moving to the next part. No collision.
