How to disable save project settings?
Is it possible to stop the slicer form asking to save updates to projects everytime I use it? I do nice simple models, not these project things. The last version didn't annoy me asking to save projects.
And how do you stop those really annoying 'paper-clip' things appearing - "Oh it looks like a log, do you want some scented paper to wipe with?"
RE: How to disable save project settings?
If you open Prusa Slicer 2.4, and select the Configuration drop down menu of the tool bar at the top
then select Preferences, you can deselect the save changes option about two thirds of the way down the 'General' tab
and
If you select the 'Gui' tab, you can disable 'Tip of the day' in there

RE: How to disable save project settings?
Thanks for the reply, Joan. I had already tried all that and I still get asked to save the project when I close prusa slicer. Any other suggestions other than giving up in frustration and living with it, consider it a featurette (aka a feature that you don't want to take advantage of - aka a bug)?
RE: How to disable save project settings?
I usually don't save the work either, and it prevents shutdown if I have one, let alone 3+ prusa slicer windows open. I found this which points to an update in the latest version. Should be fixed soon...
RE: How to disable save project settings?
I just kill prusaslicer from the task manager (ctrl-shift-esc). Inelegant, but it gets the job done.

@tanj666
Just run the prusa-slicer-console version, it's exactly the same program. when your done just click the X to close the console window and slicer will just go away, it won't ask you a thing, no matter what you changed. it's my preferred way to run 2.4.
