How to change direction of overhang perimeters?
I am having some issues with multi-material painting. When I paint the bottom part of this overhang a second color using smart fill it has an overhang perimeter that has floating anchors:
But when I remove the multi-material painting it has a much more normal overhang that I would expect to close the gap without floating acnhors or needing supports:
I have tried a bunch of bridging and multi-material settings but can't seem to help the issue. At first glance it doesn't seem like the normal bridging for multi-material would change the look. Any idea why this is needed for multi-material and if it can be changed?
