How much time filament cooling ("minimum layer time") is adding to your print time

I don't know… how many people even know "minimum layer time" exists and could benefit from this information? There's a reason this option is only available in expert mode, and to display the "filament cooling time" when 99% of users wouldn't have a clue what that meant or how they could change it feels unnecessary.

 I use the hell out of "Cooling thresholds", I normally just look at the overall time of the print, and adjustment of the cooling is what it has to be, based on the features I'm trying to achieve in my prints, not something I'm looking to trim to save time, but just looking to optimize.

I'm curios what  are you using the feature for?

I find that the filament cooling often are a big part of why a print takes time, for instance I have seen it taking 40% on a single model. If one finds that the cooling it takes much time, adjusting perimeter or infill settings (or other time consuming variables) are more or less useless. It's better then to print more models at a time. It was not my intent with the picture to suggest that one reduces the minimum layer time, it was just to demonstrate how the statistic work.

The label of the statistics is easy to change, I'm open for suggestions.

Just to be clear, what I'm saying is, I would rather adjust my cooling for best print quality, then speed, to me proper cooling is all about achieving your best result. Time is not as important as print quality to me. Personally what I would really like to see is more control in the GUI of the cooling. for example if I have  one of an object on the platter and then I decide I need another part on the platter as well, that throws off all the layer times as they are controlled now. another thing I would love to see would be a way to simply assign a cooling gradient to an object. knowing how much time cooling is taking without being able to use that information to effect the quality of the model wouldn't really help me. I did put some thought into if I could find a way to use it. But for me the bottom line was I couldn't.

I realize your a user not a developer, I'm just discussing it.

I think having a hint like

"Current settings for "slow down if layer print time is below y"  increase the total print time by x minutes"

would sometimes be helpful.

If it is significant to me, i would think about printing 2 or more parts at once.
