How can i remove first layer support ?
Hello, i need some help with something i would like to do, basicaly i want to use support generation as "texture" or grip. The problem is that i cant remove the first layer, i can only set it to 10% (what ruins the looking), what is weird cause i can remove the top layer which start just under the 3d model..
How can i set the support layer directly from the bottom ?
And can i add perimeters to support layer to make it bit more solid ?
PS: Also is there a way to add or create you own support pattern ? Like import lines from Ai or something ?
I know i can do that in 3d but i was looking to try it by support editing. Any suggestion ? Thanks !

would this work, with the bottom filled in?

You can’t, there is no setting to remove the supports first layer completely. Also the only way to modify support types is to alter the code yourself and compile it.

I am a little perplexed, why are there supports on the first layer? is the first layer a perimeter with no infill?
I just get infill and perimeters...
Can you save a project file, and then zip compress the project file, and attach the zip file to your next post please?

Yes you are right, there is perimeter with no infill on the bottom part
Unfortunately I can't attach files here (don't know why) but this file type is not permitted for security reasons. But here is a link to download
