RE: Move Base of an organic support?
This is something that I've struggled with as well, and never found a really good answer. It seems to me to be an edge case bug of the organic support algorithm to not take into account the printable area (and I'd like organic support layers to become decoupled from the model layers like regular supports are to allow using variable layer heights with organic supports, but that would be a separate issue).
Hmmm... I just searched through the issue tracker on GitHub (both open and closed issues) and there are many reports of this, most of them marked as "Closed as not planned". The original similar issue (regarding skirts and regular supports) still open since 2018-04-22. https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues/849 I'm not expecting much traction from Prusa about this. 😖

RE: Move Base of an organic support?
In this particular case, I was able to print by changing "1st Layer Expansion" from the default of 3mm to 2.5mm. But I still would like to know how to move the supports to the printable area... Agree that is seems like a bug in the organic support algorithm.
RE:
Its not just the organic support algorithm, its all supports. It is just more noticeable/crops up more with Organic. It has also Always had this issue, back to before it was was Prusa Slicer, when it was Slic3rPE. Very long running issue so yeah I agree with Sembazuru that its unlikely to be fixed anytime soon.
Of course a successful social media campaign has been known to bring stuff to Joe's attention, especially if you can get some of the bigger 3d printer tubers on the bandwagon lol.
Only way I know to alter them is to set support on build plater only and then add extra 1 layer high small parts onto the build plate to try and 'steer' their placement. Which is an exercise in frustration.
RE: Move Base of an organic support?
IMHO, the problem is worse with the organic supports because it is difficult to guess where the start of the branches will be.
