Horizontal round profile comes out flat
I hope the pictures will help more than the title, but basically I have a round profile that shows up correctly in the preview but then comes out flat once it is sliced even at .1 mm resolution. I am exporting from Fusion 360 as a f3d file using the highest resolution. It seems like the slicer should be able to do a better job with this. Am I missing something? (Sorry about the huge pictures - is there a way to insert them smaller and side by side?)

Can you upload the ZIP compressed 3MF project file so we can see all your settings

Sure! Here is the 3mf and config files. (Oops I said f3d earlier but meant 3mf.)
RE: Horizontal round profile comes out flat
Turn off the Arachne perimeter generator, and go back to Classic, that should fix you right up.

It might look wrong at a glance, but it's not inaccurate. 50% transparency to show how well it lines up at 0.2 layer height.
If you just want the more curvy look, even though its technically lower resolution, you can use variable layer heights.

Nothing wrong with the file. As Snuffleupagus pointed out, Classic does a better job here with the top curved part than Arachne, which has its strengths but also still significant weaknesses. And BaconFase's point is also valid. You can play with the resolution to get fewer "steps" on the curved part, either using the variable layer height function, or—if you want better control—height range modifiers.

Awesome! Great to see that nothing was wrong and I have lots of options to experiment with.
