Help with installing brim.

I am printing the elevator fins for a rc plane.  The stl file has the three pieces standing on end.  I need a brim on each of the three parts or they will come off the bed during the print.  I chose the brim feature in the slicer but when I slice the print only one of the three parts has the brim installed.    The stl file is a purchased file and I dont believe I can edit it.  I tried removing the other two and slicing only one at a time but then I get an error that there is no extrusion on the bottom layer.  Any ideas on how to get the brim on all three parts?

RE: Help with installing brim.

I ge the feeling the models are not aligned properly and only the one of the right touches the bed and thus it gets brim.

Can you check what happens with supports enabled?

One option to fix it is to use raft and supports.

But I guess the best option would be to talk to the model creator to fix this.

See my GitHub and printables.com for some 3d stuff that you may like.

I lowered the whole model till the outline on the bed turned white and then the brim installed on all three parts.  So you were right about all the parts not being all the way down on the bed.

thanks
