Get list of issues with an imported STL.
I haven't had this issue before, but today, I dragged and dropped an STL file into PS. Apparently there are issues, but they aren't displayed, as usual. I do have a warning icon showing me there are problems, but I can't find a way to see a list of them. (Clicking on the warning icon, or double clicking, do not help.) Here's what I get right after I import this STL file:
As you can see (in the full sized version, since the forum cuts off part of the image), I don't get a report of what the issue is. I don't see how to pull up a list of issues from the entry in the list box, either.
RE: Get list of issues with an imported STL.
How about sharing the zipped 3mf file to the community?

Hover your mouse over the warning triangle.

I'm so used to just sending the GCode directly to my printer now that I didn't even think about saving a file. Definitely goofed on that!
I went back into Blender and fixed it, then re-imported it. So next time I have that issue, and if @Neophyl's technique doesn't work, then I'll be sure to save the file.

If you are using Blender then I do hope you have turned on the optional 3dprint tool add on ? That can generate a list of problem areas with your geometry and it can even highlight them for you. It's even possible to get it to fix them, sometimes lol.
RE: Get list of issues with an imported STL.
I loaded in another object that PS corrected. I did see a report of what was wrong (something like, "Fixed 2 non-manifold edges"), but hovering over any part of the item in the list didn't provide any information.

I learned, with a lot of pain and frustration, how to do quite a bit of that on my own, over about a month. Then someone told me about it and I found with one click, I could check on all the things I was taking extra time to do on all my objects before exporting them. Still, as frustrating as it was learning how to do things like double-check normals, look for manifold issues, and so on, I'm glad I learned it all before I found the tool so I understand what's going on.
Right now I'm working on learning how to add threads to cylinders and I've been getting help on BlenderArtists.org - which is also a nice forum for help, just like this one - and I've found that for some situations that "Make Manifold" button is great. Other times - well, at least it helps sometimes.
RE: Get list of issues with an imported STL.
It's a bug. Reloading a fixed model in PS will still show the warning icon.
If your model has issues, there will a list of issues on the bottom right in the Info panel. It will say exactly the issue with the warning icon and what was auto-repaired.

Nor sure what you mean. I just loaded a known errored STL and hovering worked as Neophyl posted.
RE: Get list of issues with an imported STL.
- load error STL
- fix errors in Blender
- right click > reload from disk
- error icon displays in model list, but no errors shown in Info box
It's happened to me several times.

Maybe it's my settings or something. I have upgraded (now) to 2.5, but still had the same issue. As you can see in the photo I uploaded, there was nothing in the bottom right info panel addressing this issue. That screenshot was taken right after loading. I have also not had a detailed report of what was auto-repaired. (I'm using Advanced mode.) So, yes, I think there's a bug, but on the day I had this issue, it showed up in 2.4.x, I deleted the STL import and re-imported. Got the same thing. Took the screenshot I posted and wrote a post. In the process of writing the post, I saw a post saying 2.5 was out. I installed 2.5 and got the same thing. (And, looking back, my memory may be off. I may have waited until I tried this in 2.5 to take that screenshot.)

@secv Sorry I thought you were saying you had a problem wirg Prusaslicer.
BTW Ideamaker slicer seem to note and fix STL errors in a sensible fashion.
