Flow rate for filament
I have been experimenting with flow rate for a new filament I am using (it’s Sun lu pla+). I have found that 0.95 is best for me. I have edit generic pla to reflect this but every time I open slicer the change is gone . Is there a way I can save the settings so I don’t have to change them every time I open slicer
RE: Flow rate for filament
Can you tell me how you did that?
I'm calibrating filament with Orca Slicer for my MagnetoX and X1C's,... but those calibration tests I can't do in Prusa Slicer for my MK4's and XL.
I would love to tune my profiles, but can't find out how to do so...

Yes, when changing parameters in Prusaslicer, in the settings tab, click the file icon
to save it as a new preset with a different name (I mostly add some info about the change I made, so I will know next time.)
When you did a great print job, with several parameters changed and very happy. Save the project with a name you will recognize.
Something like "Best print with PLA+ I ever made :-)".
Next time you need it, open that file. Delete the object what is on the plate. Replace with new one, and here you go.
We will do what we have always done. We will find hope in the impossible.
RE: Flow rate for filament
But is there a way to calibrate filament with pressure advance etc within Prusa Slicer and de XL?
RE: Flow rate for filament
Nope, not at all,... that's the same as max flow and flow rate...
And that's where you can change it, but where are the test to determine the max flow and flow rate?
I'm looking at: Temp tower, Max Flowrate, Flow rate, Retraction, Pressure advance ... all easy within Orca Slicer, and even to print on MK4 with Orca Slicer. But Prusa XL isn't supported there, and I'm experiencing a lot of stringing on the XL and wrong pressure advance settings as I see walls not connecting, gaps or over extrusion on seems.
I hate to say it, but my X1C prints better than the XL at this moment.

I think these settings come most close to what your are searching:
