Failed to load image from file "E:\Program Files\Prusa3D\PrusaSlicer\resources\icons\splashscreen.jpg".

I have recently upgraded the slicer to 2.9.3 and all has gone well with one exception. When I load an .stl file I get the message in the topic title and some investigation sows the file isn't in the location shown. Does this indicate that the upgrade wasn't completely successful?

Thanks

I assume a Windows OS. ?? Why is Prusa loaded on E: since Win normal program install is C:\Program Files\ ?? Have you searched for the file to see where it is? Where is the prusa-slicer.exe file you are running? Obviously, something went wrong with your install. It may be that Prusa actually installed it on C: and your are running your old version from E: (I don't know how or why), and maybe the whole resource folder is missing on E:

It is on Windows 11 where I keep the majority of  my program files on E: keeping C: as a system drive. I have had no problems with this arrangement for at least 3 years. E:\Program Files\Prusa3D\PrusaSlicer\resources\icons\ contains 315 items, none of them being splashscreen.jpg - As 2.9.3 runs well in this location with this one issue I shall continue with this arrangement for now.

Interesting. I look at C:\Program Files\Prusa3D\PrusaSlicer\resources\icons in my Win11 install (PS v2.9.3) and the filecount is 316 items. As a stop-gap, here is the splashscreen.jpg file from my install for you to manually place in your install.

Devs rarely visit these forums so you might want to drop an issue in the PrusaSlicer github (after searching to make sure someone else didn't also report the same issue) describing how you forced Win11 to install in the nonstandard location so the devs can follow your instructions to attempt to replicate the problem and then test that their solution works. The "Help/Report an Issue" menu item in PrusaSlicer is a shortcut to access the issue reporting wizard that you get when you click the "New Issue" button in github, but that doesn't help searching for existing issues to avoid making a duplicate issue that just adds bookkeeping noise to the dev team.
