F360 style mouse control. is it possible?

Am i the only one who after spending a few hours/days designing a model in Fusion 360, starts up prusa slicer and has to take a while to get used to the different way you move around and zoom in on the model?

The mouse move feature in F360 i like the most is the zoom with the mouse wheel to where ever the pointer is,
This catches me out a lot, especially when adding supports to the model, as in slicer i need to zoom in a bit with the wheel, then orbit with left mouse button, pan with middle mouse button, zoom in or out a bit more and so on.

Zoom to where the mouse pointer is is so much faster and intuitive... or am i the only one thinking this?

i might have missed an option in the settings to allow this, if i have please tell me where it is.

+1, often open prusa slicer after using F360 for hours, only to randomly move items & the camera around, trying to remember how to Prusa works. Matching motion control with F360 would be a nice feature. Thanks.

Why are you posting feature requests to the forum ?  That’s all done on the PRUSA slicer GitHub.

I would add that Fusion 360 and PrusaSlicer are not synonymous with each other, there are many many different 3d packages out there, and more them many many different people using them, why should Prusa, or any software for that matter conform to only one way of navigation, when it's not even their product. I use 3DSMmax, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Blender, Photoshop and a few others. It's up to you the user to get used to it. You are only thinking about you when you make a request like this.

Learn and adapt, it does get easier as you move forward.
