Embossed text/logos without cutting into final layer below them?
When printing these logo badges angle lines appear on the top of the print that are being formed due to the lettering being slightly depressed into the final layers. Is there a way to override/change this so the lettering prints on the top surface without any debossing done in the slicing process?
We need more background - a picture might help. Is this for multicolour printing or same-colour embossing/bas relief?

I'm doing multicolor prints of these badges as shown in this pic. I think you can see the artifacts/diagonal lines in the silver badge behind the lettering.
OK, picture has shown up now ... that looks like a miscalculation of layer depth. Did you remember to allow for your first layer (often) not being the same thickness as the later layers? When designing this sort of thing you must have the intended layer thickness in mind.
Attached is a .zip containing two files that illustrate the method; load them together as parts and assign different extruders to each. IF printed with 0.2mm layers and a 0.2mm first layer it will lay down text exactly two layers thick.

Honestly, all that is something I hadn't considered. I have made some similar stuff without this problem prior but maybe I just got a bit lucky on layer heights or the filament choices didn't show the lines like that filament does. I'll play with/adjust those heights and see how it prints.
I have been designing these using onshape and did the lettering embossing by extruding it off the face of the badge in the onshape app. It's all one piece. Your method on that zip file uses two different models and combines them in Prusaslicer. Is one way better than the other?
Thanks, while I'm not brand new to all this, I'm still learning as I go, appreciate the help.
RE: Embossed text/logos without cutting into final layer below them?
I set all the layer heights to .2mm, made sure my parts were divisible by that and sure enough, on the slicer it looks good. My printer is running something else so I haven't had a chance to print one out yet but I can't imagine it isn't going to be much better.

Maybe, maybe not; it depends on the individual case. It's flexible though, attached is a demo of some of the variations. Also for 0.2mm layers.

nearly i got same problem but in this case it don't look right to print streight true when normaly the top layers only is visible?
but yes i got same errors , last full layer maybe Z=0.4 @0.2 slice get ond 2nd layer forming from next 0.6 layer, it look not right to make
there is no reason to go truth
2nd layer:

Hard to judge without seeing the project files - save your project as a .3mf file
Files > Save Project as
Zip the .3mf and post it here. It will contain both your part and your settings for us to diagnose.
