DRAFT SHIELD BUG
Hi. Maybe I have found a bug. If I print with 'separate objects' option enabled and draft shield enabled, prusaslicer generates the shield on all the platform and not around each object. This does not allow individual object printing. Please see my video.
RE: DRAFT SHIELD BUG
You can report it at Github here's the link:
https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/issues
I was able to reproduce the problem in Slicer 2.3 & 2.4 as well. This is defiantly not desirable behavior.
RE: DRAFT SHIELD BUG
Thanks.
RE: DRAFT SHIELD BUG
I did a quick search after I posted to you and it turns out they have known about this since version 1.34.1, 2017 another person reported it in the 2.4 version and was informed that it had already been reported in 2017
So don't expect a fix, it's time to think about workarounds. You should just make your own draft shields.

RE: DRAFT SHIELD BUG
This is all working in SuperSlicer if your interested in using it. SuperSlicer is a fork of PrusaSlicer.
RE: DRAFT SHIELD BUG
I just learned that PS 2.8.1 has a fix for the infamous draft shield bug. Now if you enable the draft shield, you can independently set the number of loops for the brim, and the draft shield now gets a brim just like any other object. Unfortunately the draft shield is brim-thickness all the way up, which IMHO wastes filament for no good reason. However, I'll take that over the previous 'make your own draft shield' workaround from before.
Interesting that I couldn't find anything in the changelog for 2.8.1 that referenced this change. You would think that this would have been heralded from the rooftops as much as people here have been complaining about the issue for at least 4 years.
