Difference between "infill before perimeters" vs "external perimeters first"
How does "infill before perimeters" differ in behavior compared to "external perimeters first"? On initial assumption, it sounds like the same function. And secondly, if there are any specifics towards overhangs with regard to these settings that would be helpful, too.
RE: Difference between "infill before perimeters" vs "external perimeters first"
The first prints the infill and then does the inner perimeters and then the outer perimeters, so works from inside to out. External perimeters first does the outer perimeters, then the inner perimeters and then puts the infill inside.
Normal printing does the inner perimeters, then the outer perimeters and then the infill.
Just use the preview after slicing and step through the extrusion on a layer with the different settings and it will visualise what it’s doing for you. You should ALWAYS use the preview after slicing to check for any potential errors anyway so it’s a good habit to get into.
