Creating custom SLA printer profile - Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K
Hello, made the plunge into SLA and ordered a printer under a Black Friday sale and now to get the slicer setup. Does anyone have a slicer profile for the Elegoo Saturn 4 Ultra 16K with PrusaSlicer?
I looked at other slicing software and they all recommend Windows which I don't have. Even Chitubox has not upgraded their Linux version for some time.
I am still trying to find out the full specifications to enter into the slicer and hope to have something by the time the printer arrives this week.
FWIW, I picked this printer from reviews and the fact that you don't need to use the cloud for the wi-fi access, even though I don't have any wi-fi where the printer is, yet. 🙂

- Install UV Tools: https://github.com/sn4k3/UVtools/releases/tag/v5.2.1
- Go to Help -> Install Profiles Into PrusaSlicer
- Select Printer and profiles to install

FWIW, ChituBox or Lychee slicer are better for SLA printers. However, if you use PrusaSlicer, make sure you run it through UV Tools issues automator.

Trying Lychee but it requires an internet connection at least once a week to operate. Linux version is out of date. ChituBox is also out of date for the Linux version. I don't have any Windows computers. I did see a post the other day about running Windows Programs in Linux but not with Wine. Have to look at it.

I just found about UV Tools the other day via a bug report on generating files for Elegoo printers. It looks very interesting. Have not had time to look at it. This may be the best option for me.
My son wants to use the printer but he runs Windows so he can do the slicing for his stuff.
