Can't move part on Plater tab

Hi,

I'm trying to print a rather big (240mm x 180mm x 58mm) part on a MK3s with MMU2 upgrade - and I found that the default placement of the part on center of the print bed the wipe tower is just a bit too big.  I'd like to scoot the part to the front edge of the printer and place the wipe tower on the rear chunk, but everytime I tried putting in coordinates to move the part it snaps back to being center on the print bed.  Is there a way to undo this auto-snap?

It's driving me nuts...

Thanks,

OK. I tested this in PSlicer 2.1.1.

Looks like 0 is the only value that will be rejected. If I enter 1 or -1, the object will jump to these positions.

Remember that the origin of your object might not be in the front left. It is more common to find the origin point in the centre of the object. So, you need to offset it by half its sizes.

Simply dragging the object in object view might be easier.

RE: Can't move part on Plater tab

Theres a bug over on github about the entering of values in fields with it rejecting 0 that I added awhile ago.  Using 0.0001 for example will work but 0 doesnt.  Happens on lots of the entry fields too.

Just had a go with 2.2.0 alpha 2 and the fields now seem to accept 0 in every one I tried (not exhaustive by any means) so it looks like it will be fixed in the next official release.

Also it may not be the bug as there is also a configuration option to auto place parts to the centre of the bed.  Under Configuration > Preferences > Auto Centre Parts.  It was one of the first things I turned off.
