Can't install PrusaSlicer 2.9.5 in Windows 11
Hello,
When installing Prusaslicer 2.9.5 under Windows 11, the installer tells me that PrusaSlicer is running and that the installer can't run properly. However I have checked with Windows process manager and there's no PrusaSlicer running. What's wrong?

Im getting the following error when trying to install on to windows 11 also, tried running as administrator, changed the environment variables to a different temp folder. seems the setup.exe file needs recreating.
unable to execute file in the temporary directory, setup aborted
error 5: access is denied

interesting. I've installed PrusaSlicer 2.9.5 on windows 7, 8.1, 10 and 11 with no issues what so ever. hmmm 🤨 I wonder where the problem could be?

For the both of you I would suggest contacting support as they can go through a list of things to check that could resolve this for you.

I finally could solve it by letting the installer forcing the "Prusa Slicer" it dectected quitting even if if wasn't there. And if no one from the support reads the forum, so be it.

The usual remedy for this is to first uninstall the previous version. If that doesn’t work then afterwards can try to install as administrator. That said, I just now did an install on Windows 11 and didn’t run into an issue.
