CANNOT figure out how to import an SVG

Hi guys, hoping you can help me with this issue.

I'm designing a custom part for a client's car. We both thought it would be really cool to use my MMU3 (when I actually get around to installing it) to print this logo onto the part.

Problem is, PrusaSlicer loads the logo in as a completely solid model, there's absolutely nothing of the logo besides its general shape. On top  of that, even if the software loaded in the actual logo, it's not giving me the option to "Use Surface" to attach the SVG to the model, it's just dumping the SVG onto the print bed in the slicer.

I feel like I'm about to tear my hair out over this, I didn't realize working with SVGs would be this monumentally difficult. Am I just dumb?

RE: CANNOT figure out how to import an SVG

So I was able to get PrusaSlicer to load the SVG onto the face of the model, I don't know what changed as I was doing the same thing I was trying before and it just decided to work.

The main issue still stands though, the SVG loads in completely blank. None of the text shows up of the logo shows up at all. I can't use it like that. Can anyone help give some advice on why PrusaSlicer is being difficult with this?

RE:

I brute forced it using another program (InkScape). Had to make multiple different SVG files where I deleted various parts of the original file and carefully drag the different files into place by hand in order to assemble the original file in the slicer.

The SVG files also ended up fighting me again with trying to get them attached to the face. But I finally got it figured out and got the gcode sliced. Just need to install my MMU3 and see how this works out. I'm also attempting to use ABS with this print, so that also adds to the uncertainty. Should be a fun time.
