Can you create your own infill geometry?

Is it possible to code/create your own infill geometry pattern. What I mean by that is defining your own geometry patern. not dimensions and density. E.g. A unincorn pattern or hotdog pattern. Of course it would have to be something tilable. But that was just some stupid examples.

Thank you found the fill pattern code in the source code, but I've no idea what I'm looking at so is probably easier to just model it from scratch with that pattern

You can if you just import the file into the slicer and turn it into a shell pattern for example getting rid of any perimeter and top and bottom layers and changing the infill to a low percentage. So for example if you wanted to have a unicorn infill pattern in a basic cuboid shape you would inport both into the slicer then leave the cuboid as is but move/scale the unicorn to the given position inside the cuboid shape and then by changing bottom solid/perimeters/top solid layers to 0 you will isolate the geometry to being a shell and therefore just an infill pattern. You will need the slicer to be in advanced mode for this I think but its definitely possible.
