Automatic color change not showing up anymore

I have an stl that I sliced and the looks like a logo popped up and worked great. Then I needed to scale the model and it didn't come up after deleting the color change and I have not been able to get it to come back up on this model. Any ideas why?

Because you scaled it outside of the automatic detection range.

Drag the slider at the right to the place where you want your colour change(s), click the + sign on the slider and reslice.

Ok, but I usually just remove the color change from the slider and reslice and the dialogue comes up asking if I want it to select the color change for me. I can select the color change location but it's easier and quicker to have the system do it and it won't.

Ok I reread and you say out of the detection range. What is that range? This scale was to increase the width of a certain feature, I don't really need the extra Z distance. I could cut it.

I don't know the figure, If a step is too big or too small it will not be detected automatically - but you can always add it manually.
