Assigning multiple model bodies to tool-heads at once.

Please forgive the lack of a decent title for this question. I don't exactly know how to word it or what to search for if this have been asked and answered already either.

I have a model with text that I want printed as a different color. When assigning each body in the model to a different head using Slicer 2.9.0, is there a way to shift or ctrl select the multiple bodies and change them all at once? The slicer imports every other body to every other printer head. It goes 1, 2, 1, 2, 1, 2 etc. I end up clicking three times on dang near every body it imports and assigned to head 2 and change it to head 1. This change required 4 clicks per body. I have over 100 characters in my text. This means I have to click the mouse over 400 times! It's crazy.

Is there a way to change multiples at the same time or is there a way to force it to import and assign all bodies to a particular head and only change the 1, 2, or 3 bodies back to the other head?

I hope all that yappin' makes sense to someone.

RE:

Well you can use shift click to select multiple bodies.  Or you can hold down shift and drag a selection marque over a bunch of items to select them.  You can also use control+A to select ALL, and then cntrol + click on the items or in the tree list to deselect specific ones.

Once selected you can then right click and "Set Extruder for selected items".

Dadgum...I'm an idiot. That's what I was missing. I was shift selecting them trying to click the pull down where the color box was. I'm so dumb. LOL

Thank you for that!!! Exactly what I needed. Sorry for the dumb question.

No new questions are dumb, assume someone else has similar problems but is too scared to ask.

What is dumb not checking to see if a question has been asked before because if it has you may get your fix faster than waiting for a reply.

Cheerio,

Agreed. On the flip side of that, I've not just had amazing success with the search function of this forum either. Not knowing the proper lingo for things as a newb doesn't help.

Search on the forum sucks.  Basically don't bother with it.

If I need to search the forum I use google with the site key.  For example "site: https://forum.prusa3d.com/ bulge" to search here for the term bulge.

The search function on every forum sucks.  I agree with using Google.
