Arrange feature should consider organic support footprint

I had many pieces to print, several had supports. I used Arrange but when sliced I got errors of overlapping first layers and printing outside of the print area. These were caused by the large footpad of organic supports. Suggestions:

1. Arrange could consider the size of the organic support footpads.

2. There could be a button in Preview named "Adjust" that would move parts to avoid the footpad overlap.

3. When slicing the gcode could merge different footpads to allow close part placement. (probably the best idea)

Hi Jim,

could you make these suggestions on the Prusa Slicer, Git Hub, page, where the developers tend to congregate.

Merge your parts before slicing and the support will merge as its a single object at that point.
I saw you opened an issue on the GitHub but if you search you will find it’s been an open request for literally years there. The overlap warning is relatively recent and a response to the many times it has been raised.
PS can apply different setting to different objects precisely because it treats them all separately, but that does mean you have to take that into account when slicing.
