Are these seams?
Hey All -
New to the 3D printing world. We've done a few test prints and downloaded some STL files to slice and print also. Those all went very well. I've take my first stab at modeling (Fusion360) and slicing (PrusaSlicer) my first design. I've noticed a phenomenon that I don't understand. Looking for some guidance. Both parts have what appear to be random ridges in the periphery on one side of the part. I'm thinking these are the seams I've read about on this forum.
The parts are very similar, but I did make some modeling changes between the two and re-ran the stl file through the slicer. I'm thinking that could be why they seams/lines are in a similar location but not exact.
Anyway, are these lines that I'm seeing seams? And assuming they are, what's the best way to prevent these (trying random instead of aligned)?

From what I can see in the images you posted they do appear to be seams, yes.

You can choose from the different Seam position: drop down, and/or use the seam painting tool to paint them in a location of your choosing. Blue paint color represents Seam enforcement, and Red Seam blocking.

Thanks for the help. I found the existing seams in Slicer once I figured out how to turn that view on. Also figured out how to change the position. Appreciate the reply.
