Anyone had success with Fillamentium Flexfill 98A?

I've been printing for a while on my SV01 and am generally pleased with the results I had with PETG, Nylon, ABS and ASA. I generally use Prusa Mk3s defaults and dial the speed down by 5-10%.

I tried Flexfill 98A today and it was not pretty. Black blobs all over the place, seem like there was too much material and it was being burnt. I used default settings for Flexfill 98A and MK3s. I tried several Print profiles and reducing nozzle temp while increasing bed temp. Also tried reducing extrusion multiplier. I looked at bunch of material profiles and Flexfill 98A was the only one not 1.0, I wonder if that's significant?

Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

I have had very few problems printing 98A with my Mk3.  The tricky part is setting the pressure of the Bondtech gears then the default settings are fine. All flex has to be printed slowly though, very slowly.  I suggest you try the defaut setting but drop the print speed even more, try 50% and if it works ramp up the speed until you fail then back off.

extrusion multiplier. I looked at bunch of material profiles and Flexfill 98A was the only one not 1.0,

I assume the elasticity messes with the extrusion pressure.

Hth, Cheerio,

RE: Anyone had success with Fillamentium Flexfill 98A?

Hello everyone!

I have a Prusa I3 MK3S+ and I am printing with the Fillamentium Flexfill 98A in Black color and when it starts to print the machine stops and extracts the filament as if it did not detect it. I have loaded Fillamentium Flexfill 98A in Red color and it prints perfectly. What can be? The sensor does not detect the black Fillamentium Flexfill 98A?

Thank you.
