RE: Update...(Kind of)
So my order is out I'm very😎
According to Prusa shipping in June
RE: Update...(Kind of)
When was the sale actually started? I just noticed that today.
I hope I'm not one of the last
RE: Update...(Kind of)
It must've only been the last couple of hours I think mate.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
I hope that one day the 16mm on the Y-axis will not be fatal to me

RE: Update...(Kind of)
So if I believe this is right, this has p****d me right off...the fun fence for the retail version is much better than the horror show that us founders will receive.
I mean, we did get it a fair bit cheaper, but still...
Looks like Prusa have concluded that they don't need the stupid diagonal struts after all, and can instead make the carrier plate stiffer by giving it a folded-back lip at its upper edge? Now if only I could recall where I have seen that suggestion before...
But yes, it feels like a dick move. It was Prusa's responsibility to design the INDX mount for the Core One. They spoiled it for Bondtech's Founders Edition, then (partially) fixed it for their own version.
RE: Aktualisierung...( Irgendwie)
I think this will be replaced by the upper edger, so by the upper window part

Say again please?
RE: Update...(Kind of)
Words out, got mine ordered after 15 crashes and restarts. Within an 40 minutes of getting the email. Webstore was slightly overloaded.
RE:
When did you order yesterday or today?
I didn't even get an email.
The upper strip of the frame is replaced by the one from the INDX
RE:
Wouldn't it be funny if the Prusa version ships before the Founder's Edition? 🤔
RE: Update...(Kind of)

Yes, of course.
What I was referring to is that the sheet metal part to which the tools are directly mounted (the section with the numbers 1..8) has now received a narrow folded-back upper edge. That stiffens it against bending -- much more effectively than the stupid diagonal struts Prusa had originally designed. I had suggested that solution repeatedly here, hence am pleased to see that Prusa have eventually come to the same conclusion.

Best I can tell, email went out today at the time of the online anouncement. Anouncement just over an hour ago my time.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
Would be nice if Prusa gave us Founders and new front plate in exchange for helping them debug. Just saying...

It's a proper dick move.
They knew there was a problem, hence they fixed it.
It stinks of them jumping the gun and cutting the diagonal mesh versions before realising it's damn awful to look at and not effective anyway...they should just swallow the cost and give us the 'fixed' version.
RE: Update...(Kind of)
100% this.

Don't get your hopes up. "If FE owners want to adopt some of these changes later on, the updated components will also be offered separately as spare parts.", according to the blog post.

I placed my order at 16:20
