INDX Assembly Guide
That got your attention 🤣
Although the guide hasn't been released yet ...
Tommy_Prusa3D: If all goes well we will release the assembly guide later today.Â
No doubt there will be some bumps in the road and teething troubles, so I guess a thread will be useful for the early adopters.
RE: INDX Assembly Guide
Yeah, saw that in the Discord. Hasn't he backtracked since then and pushed it to tomorrow?
RE: INDX Assembly Guide
Probably Chris
I guess all didnt go well 🤣
RE:
It's tiring all the backtracking. They shouldn't pre-announce things. Just drop it onto github then make an announcement. Or simply commit to the 25th (assuming that is still the date and it doesn't slip). Just in-case there is yet more "tweaking" needed.Â
RE: INDX Assembly Guide
Nothing was formally announced, just people in the discord pestering him and asking over and over. People asked if the guide could be posted early so that they could be prepared for when the kits arrived, and he is just trying to do a solid for the community. There's no backtracking going on, just the reality of projects and life.
RE: INDX Assembly Guide
There are still a few days until delivery.
But I think the instructions will probably go online on Friday
RE: INDX Assembly Guide
and they'll likely change as people start to have issues actually following directions. 🤣Â

yes, I hang-out on discord as well. I suppose I was pointing out that BondTech have had a history of announcing dates and then watching them slip. It's better for them to just announce as they are dropping it like most vendors do (except Prusa I suppose).Â

RE: INDX Assembly Guide
I opened discord to close it directly again... What a mess of an app it is... Overload on colors and capital, bold, Italic and normal letters...Â

I just want the thing to ship so I can wave goodbye to Discord.
The way that most users on there are vying for the attention of Olaf/Tommy is akin to a gang of teenage girls desperate for the attention of the high school quarterback.Â
It's quite something 🤣
