Wow, that's a lot of wear for a "wear resistant" nozzle. I just bought one so should keep an eye on it.

Wear resistant just means that. CF and GF filaments will chew through any steel nozzle except for ruby or diamond tipped. That's why if you print a lot of abrasive filaments then the $130 price tag for the diamondbacks are worth it since they (in theory) will never wear out.
