While printing Core One goes black, reboots and beeps.
So this is apparently a common issue as of right now.
While printing the printer will move its printhead to the center left, go black and then reboot while beeping 10 times. Then continue the print.
It may be a problem with one of the motors, the firmware og a sensor.
Right now there is no fix for this. I contacted support and they are working on it.
RE: While printing Core One goes black, reboots and beeps.
Some of us have also had the same problem. We've been able to resolve it by grounding the stepper motor housings. See here:
RE: While printing Core One goes black, reboots and beeps.
I dont realy get it, how does he ground the motor? I cant remember if there was a cable ground on it to begin with?
RE: While printing Core One goes black, reboots and beeps.
There is no ground cable on it to begin with. The post linked shows where a cable was added.
RE: While printing Core One goes black, reboots and beeps.
That I can see, I just dont get where I should mount the other end of the cable. He just shoes two pictures of a cabel going from the top left frame to the side frame
RE:
That's all it is. A cable that goes from the motor mounting screw to one of the xBuddy mounting screws. It might look a little funny in the picture because the excess cable was stuffed in the hole with the rest of the cables. If the cable added were shorter it would be seen going directly from the motor mount screw to the xbuddy mount screw.

Realy! its that simple! Crap I thought it was much more complicated 😛
RE: While printing Core One goes black, reboots and beeps.
Sadly this did not work with my printer :/
RE: While printing Core One goes black, reboots and beeps.
Bummer. Did you ground both stepper housings? X and Y? Or just X? If just X it might be worth trying Y also. The process is the same, just on the right side.
RE:
Well guess that will be the next step 😅 hope they find a better fix for this. Right now my printer is uselesss sins it crashes like every 10-20 minuet and then re-crash while zeroing.
but it’s weird I been printing for a month with no issues, then out of nowhere this problems starts happening.
RE: While printing Core One goes black, reboots and beeps.
A change in the weather maybe, from humid to dry air, leading to more static buildup?
