Noise and Stepper Ratrle

Not quite been a year with the CoreOne.  Noise and stepper rattling.  I tried the adjustment tool a while back and it helped for a little while, but now this. Would appreciate any suggestions:

Well, could try taking a small bit of general purpose machine oil on a paper towel and LIGHTLY wipe down the threaded rods and check.

Thanks.  Do you think that’ll help with the way those front stepper rods are visibly rattling when Z-axis gets to 200+?  BTW-I checked the screws for all three steppers and they are snug.

Definitely that- I've never been a fan of grease on the threaded rods. A thin film of Prusa grease on the smooth rods might also be a good idea.

RE: Noise and Stepper Ratrle

I had problems with that the Z-axis were very squeaky on certain heights.
Contacted the Prusa support over the chat regarding this.

They gave the suggestion to loosen the trapezoid nuts and check that they run freely.
When I loosened the front left nut it was a loud "BOING" and rod moved.

When I had re-screwed the trapezoid nuts again and put some Prusa grease on them  the noise was completely gone.
