Just setting up and two major roadblocks: maybe I am missing something?
Just setting up and running self tests (or trying to):
1. NFC not working at all
2. Wifi also seems not to be working correctly - registered to wifi, and it seems to have found the network, but status is offline, and cannot add printer via prusa connect
3. Filament Sensor seems to not be working at all : this is a major roadblock: cannot finish self tests, cannot load filament. (am I missing something that I need to do to allow it to work, or a physical mechanical thing I can do to check the sensor location/status?
much appreciated in advance for any advice and help

You will need your order details and the serial number of your machine.
They may ask you to film some repeatable failures.
Cheerio,
RE: Just setting up and two major roadblocks: maybe I am missing something?
Hi, don't know how for first two points, but for third:
When Self calibrating for nozzle sensor, there should be indication of force on top underscore. Higher reading, higher the orange bar.
If not, in main menu, after clicking "info" page, there is sensor info option. There you should see loadcell reading value. Mine is at steady at around -1200, and when touching jumping to -1300, when pushing to around -1700. If your registers nothing or very little you should see here.
Otherwise, in my case I neded to press it quite harder than anticipated. Not just light tap as might seemed

thanks friend.

It's the filament sensor, not the load sensor. But thanks for the tip for the future.
RE: Just setting up and two major roadblocks: maybe I am missing something?
Mostly solved: filament sensor - would not, can not see the PLA+ in Black color that I typically use. Other colors work but not this particular color of black (Elegoo brand) seems a bit disappointing that such a smart feature is the cause of a pretty dismal failure.... I will try coating the end with some different types of marker when I need to print black.
RE: Just setting up and two major roadblocks: maybe I am missing something?
Weird, I thought they were "physical" hall sensor, not optical sensors... So why would the color matter? I've printed plenty of black filaments already though not sure if I've done Elegoo PLA+ yet. Nor would I think they would have a different filament sensor on the toolhead (which I assume is the one in question). If so it would've been a major problem with all the MK4's and XL's in the past couple years (and I think I have and use that Elegoo filament you're referring to on those). Surely you can get a replacement sensor?
RE: Just setting up and two major roadblocks: maybe I am missing something?
You may be correct, but at least for me it was repeatable. Orange sample shipped with printer worked. My black pla+ didn’t, but finally I tried pla+ with an orange color (same brand and specs, elegoo) and that also loaded without issue.
RE: Just setting up and two major roadblocks: maybe I am missing something?
Yes, it senses mechanical displacement of the ball and magnet, detected by the hall sensor, right? Really hard to imagine how that should depend on filament properties (other than the diameter, which presumably is standard for the Elegoo filament too).
