Doesn't connect ti WiFi even though it thinks it has
When I turn on the Core one + after a few seconds it announces "WiFi connection successful". If I look at the WiFi status it shows an address on my local subnet. Yet it does not respond to a ping, and Slicer claims no printer found.
If I push the reset button, when it come up again it works. Sometimes it takes more than one reset. The Buddy Camera is the same, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
Any ideas?

The announcement “WiFi Connection Successful” is from the Buddy Camera, not the printer. The camera and printer have separate WiFi connections. Since both are having issues, it might be with your home router. How far away is it from your printer?

It's only maybe 10' (3m) from the printer to the router. The router is in a closet near the ceiling, the printer is on the second floor at desk height. The Buddy antenna is on the front side of the printer, there's not much metal between it and the router.
I can connect with the Prusa app on my phone, both to the printer and to the Buddy cam. The camera doesn't to a ping, so I'm puzzled. The Prusa app shows the camera with RTSP enabled and shows its address. It doesn't work most of the time. Sometimes it does.
The printer announces itself as "Prusa Core One" to the DHPC server and is given an address 192.168.0.192. It's working right now. The camera doesn't give a name to the server, but it gets an address 192.168.0.154. Not working right now, although it connects to the Prusa app. Very strange.

Try reserving a fixed IP address for both printer and camera. Maybe it's losing it's DHCP lease.
