Can't remove PTFE tube from extruder

Hi

I had some difficulty feeding Fiberology FiberFlex filament into hotted. Since I couldn't push it past filament sensor, I had to unscrew PTFE socket/mount (however it's called. marked with red arrow) and push it manually. Stuck at filament sensor. I've tried pushing black collar as well as pulling it (I don't remember which direction releases is). No luck. Is it one time use part ? Any replacements available ?

Push the black ring. It may help to use a small wrench to get pressure on several sides. Some have suggested the Prusa multi-wrench, if you have one. The part can be used many times- nothing should wear out.

It's counterintuitive but the PTFE tube may be easier to pull out if you push it in first, together with the ring.

Those pneumatic couplings are industrial equipment used out of context, if you will, on a printhead with a few microns tolerance otherwise.

We'll just put some bleachers out in the sun-And have it on Highway 61

Thx. I will try your solutions. Maybe there is some other fitting that isn’t so tight.
