RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

I've been holding my tongue but this is getting ridiculous.  Prusa should have proactively offered to split orders with questionably long lead times.  Instead, they removed the ability to edit or cancel our orders without jumping through hoops and have not reached out directly to customers.  Social media and blog posts don't cut it.  To the OGs claiming this is just how Prusa works I call BS.  It's backassward to only provide outstanding customer service after the product has been delivered.  When I bought my first Prusa five years ago the transaction was smooth and gave me no reason to expect they'd be any different this time around.  Fooled me once.  I believed my original Batch 9 estimate.  Fooled me twice.  Push my date to July and I'm disputing the charge on my CC and buying an X1C.

How difficult is it to set aside inventory for orders as the product is received rather than waiting until some miracle happens and everything in an order happens to be in stock on a given day?  I'm losing all confidence this day will arrive since my order has many items (including and beyond camera and filtration).  FWIW, at the time of my order there was zero indication in the product listing or invoice the camera or filtration would be subject to delays.  I intentionally chose to have my order fulfilled whole because the C1 kit was the main item in the order.

Rant finished...

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

I believed my original Batch 9 estimate.

Yeah, that was a really bad move by them.
That said, my impression as written earlier is that after all the turmoil things are rolling now for those of us with multiple things in their orders. I was originally Batch 10, but only had the camera (and a pile of other stuff) and that got shipped last Thursday/Friday. The kit actually arrived yesterday evening, the rest won't be here before tomorrow.
So after they made this massive reshuffle and communications mess end of May, they are now actually cranking out the orders. Though the estimate "algorithm" is unfortunately more a guess-o-meter, like a progress bar. Most of us are now stuck at 99%, day after day until it suddenly ships after all.

Let's hope there are no issues with the filtration unit supply and they ship your order out very soon.

And after me almost giving up yesterday on it, I just looked and my order has moved to “In progress”… I can’t complain I guess.

Mine is still on "New",  and the estimated delivery date has jumped from between 7/6/2025 and 7/12/2025 to between 7/12/2025 and 7/18/2025. Almost a full week later again (yes it has jumped several times now). I ordered the kit on 5/22/2025 when the estimated delivery time was between 2 to 3 weeks. Maybe they should had given the estimated delivery between 2 to 3 months in stead of weeks? That would have been far more accurate. Anyway - no progress for now. Back to the waiting state...

In the update they said they had planned to move production to a larger space but hit the electrical capacity of the new building so had to run at 80% of the new capacity, I think I see now why they thought they could get the lead time down by increasing capacity. If they are now running at 100% and if there are no more problems that arise they should hopefully keep their current estimates.

Ya, when I saw it shift to a 4 week lead in May, I was surprised and figured they must have really gotten their production going. And assumed I’d see mine sooner than the 12 weeks estimated when I ordered. Unfortunately not the case and very misleading for anyone who ordered then, like yourself. Assuming it ships this week, they’ll have gotten it out just within the 12 weeks quoted, so technically in my case they will have fulfilled their commitment.

they really need to start sending emails to customers though. Having to be linked to Reddit or other socials to know what’s going on is a bit mad. I don’t use any social media routinely. I expect if I drop over a grand on goods, the company will contact me directly if there are updates!

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

As a reference, mine (kit no extras) was ordered on April 3rd. The first delivery date was initially scheduled for June 28th (batch 13), but this date has been revised, with the lowest date being June 10th. Last week, it changed to 'in process,' and on the 19th, it was sent. It just arrived 15 minutes ago.

I hope this provides a good reference for someone.

Without wanting to infuriate anyone, more than some already are... Just to inform others...

my order for the kit and some standard accessoiries (nozzle and clipper) from 16/4/2025 just switched to 'in progress'.

The waiting and refreshing daily is over ... or at least 'almost' over.

Hope all of you get served as soon as possible, no need for dispair, I do believe @prusa3d is doing their utmost.

But then you would be waiting even longer to receive one?? Surely it's just better to wait with the order you have, as frustrating as it may be!

I think I'm drawing my line at the end of this estimate, if it slips past the 3rd of July I'm cancelling then I may order one when they are in stock ready to ship.

It’s shipped now incredibly, but the reason I would have cancelled would be that I don’t have any need for the printer as I’m getting on just fine with my existing mk3’s and my mk4. Waiting isn’t the issue for me really, it’s having money tied up that I could be spending on other new toys  that I equally don’t need 😝

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

All of this increasingly resembles a case of simple mismanagement.

I placed my order on June 13th, 2025, with an estimated delivery time of 4–5 weeks, and an initial projected delivery date of July 19th, 2025. This seemed reasonable—the system applied the maximum lead time, and I had no complaints.

However, just a few days later, the official lead time was changed to 3–4 weeks. Naturally, I expected my delivery date to be adjusted accordingly, by at least a week. It wasn’t. While this is not entirely logical, I understand that nothing was explicitly promised—so again, no complaints.

But now, the estimated delivery date has moved one day further, and I find this trend concerning. My order includes a kit and a camera. If the delivery date is extended again—even by another day—I will remove the camera from the order. And if the lead time continues to increase after that, I will cancel the entire order.

I do genuinely want to receive the Core One, but I’m simply not prepared to pay over €1,000 and then wait for an open-ended, shifting timeline.

RE:

Ordered 2025.02.05 with camera and filter. Originally batch 5/ May 20ish. Batch 5/June 20 for the updated camera/filter batches.

Still listed as "new" with expected 2025.06.21-27 dates getting pushed back daily.

Contacted support 3 times about every two weeks. Every time I was told "by the end of the week".

Can't be late if you just keep pushing the due date. 100% on time.

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

First I would like to say hello.

This is my first post and the Core One will be my first 3D printer. I've been following threads about Core One since January I think.

I decided to order on 6/16/2025 (kit ant prusament), expected to ship between 7/20/2025 and 7/26/2025 and yesterday it was moved by one day later.

I do not expect to receive my kit earlier, although I would be pleasantly surprised, but I hope I will not wait like some colleagues for 4-5 months..

Hello and welcome!

The wait time is generally getting lower and lower as the bulk of the first orders are cleared and demand settles. I would be very surprised if you had to wait that long!

What you should have done is ordered via my link below, bagged yourself 100 Prusa Points (to collect and save towards filaments) and at the same time it is possible your printer would have shipped sooner (not likely, but possible) ;o)  lol

RE: The Core One Kit Waiting List

So my kit seems to have shipped. Still have an "in progress" on the order page but DHL are telling me it'll be delivered tomorrow 🤣 it's still in Prague so not sure how they'll manage to get it to the south of Ireland in less than 24hrs but if they manage it that'll be money well spent on the express delivery (I upgraded it after it took over a week for Fedex to get all my other order to me)!

A data point for those interested. I ordered April 11th. I made 2 separate orders, one for the kit and another with a bunch of accessories including the camera and filtration unit. I did this after reading more than a few posts from experienced Prusa customers advising never to order other items with your printer. I received the accessories about 2.5 weeks ago now. It was a 12 week lead time when I ordered and I was initially in batch 14 then moved to 13, i think from memory.

Now to try and crave out time to build this. Of course I would receive it in the busiest period of the year for me, both workwise and socially but I'll hopefully manage to make it in the next week. THanks to everyone for being a sound board on this forum to air my frustrations during the wait 🤣 and for everyone still waiting I hope Prusa keep the orders moving and you receive yours soon!
